This is our all time favorite cake recipe.....You will love it!!!!!
CARROT CAKE 1 ½ cups sugar 1 cup vegetable oil 3 eggs 2 cups flour 1 ½ tsp cinnamon 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp vanilla ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp nutmeg 3 cups shredded carrots 1 cup coarsley chopped nuts Heat oven to 350 …grease and flour pan. Mix sugar oil and eggs until creamy Beat 1 minute. Stir in remaining ingredients except carrots and nuts beat 1 minute, until blended Stir in carrots and nuts. Bake until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean 13 x 9 x 2 rectangle 35-40 minutes two 8 inch pans 40-45 minutes two 9 inch pans 35-40 minutes CREAM CHEESE FROSTING 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened 1 tblsp milk 1 tsp vanilla 4 cups powdered sugar
